Several citizen reports of an intoxicated man hitchhiking and stumbling into traffic Monday afternoon on Interstate 5 near Tigard led to arrest of a man wanted on 9 warrants out of seven different jurisdictions.

On October 20, 2014 at approximately 5:35 p.m., OSP Northern Command Center dispatch began receiving several citizen reports of an intoxicated male stumbling and acting strangely while hitchhiking on Interstate 5 near Carmen Drive. An OSP trooper located the man about 20 minutes later at the off-ramp to Highway 217.
