OSP Assigns New Station Commander At University Area Command - Corvallis

Effective December 1, 2015, the Oregon State Police (OSP) OSU Area Command office will have a new area commander appointed by Superintendent Richard Evans Jr.

Lieutenant Eric Judah is being promoted to Lieutenant and will take over as the Oregon State University Area Commander following the transfer of Lieutenant Teresa Bloom who will be taking command of the Capitol Mall Area Command, also effective December 1, 2015.

Lieutenant Judah joined OSP in 1995. He has been previously assigned to Burns, Albany, OSU and Salem Areas. He has worked in both the Patrol Division and the Training Section during his career with the State Police.

The Oregon State Police has maintained an office at OSU since 1989. The OSU Area Command is responsible for all law enforcement activities on campus and work closely with University Public Safety, Corvallis Police Department, and the Benton County Sheriff's office. The office has a total staff of 10 sworn officers who cover campus 24hrs a day 7 days a week.
