Oregon State Police (OSP) is continuing the investigation into Monday morning's single vehicle fatal traffic crash along Highway 410 near Sumpter in Baker County. The victim's name will be released after allowing family additional time to complete next of kin notifications.
Preliminary information indicates on August 19, 2013 at approximately 8:15 a.m., a sport utility vehicle driven by an adult female was traveling eastbound on Highway 410 near milepost 3 when it traveled off the highway and rolled several times before coming to rest on its wheels. The female driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
OSP troopers from the Baker City office are continuing the investigation. Baker County Sheriff's Office and local emergency responders assisted at the scene.
