Update Information Related to Saturday's Standoff and Arrest in Turner

The following is an update of information authorized for release related to previous information provided Saturday morning by Marion County Sheriff's Office regarding the investigation at an incident at an apartment complex located in the 7300 block of Third Street SE in Turner (http://www.flashalert.net/news.html?id=1294).

The incident remains under active investigation by members of the Marion County Homicide Assault Response Team (HART). Law enforcement agencies participating in the investigation include: Oregon State Police, Marion County Sheriff's Office, Keizer Police Department, Salem Police Department, Woodburn Police Department, Marion County Medical Examiner's Office, Aumsville Police Department, Turner Police Department and the Marion County District Attorney's Office. OSP is leading the investigation. Additional assistance at the scene was provided by the Turner Fire Department and EMS.

The deceased female victim is identified as ADRIAN NICOLE BIRD, age 23, a resident at the apartment complex. Her 2-year old daughter was rescued, transported to a medical facility and found to be unharmed. The daughter is currently in the custody of family who responded to the scene and the identity of the minor child will not be released.

The suspect, DUSTIN MICHAEL BRYANT, age 24, was taken into custody for Parole Violation. The suspect and female victim were involved in a domestic relationship. Numerous felony charges against BRYANT are pending completion of the investigation. Any further information will be released by the Marion County District Attorney's Office.
