On Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at approximately 2:50 P.M. Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a single vehicle crash on Hwy 47 near milepost 34.
Preliminary investigation indicates a Harley Davidson motorcycle was northbound when for unknown reasons left the roadway.
The operator was pronounced deceased. Name of the involved is not being released at this time pending next of kin notification.
Hwy 47 was closed for approximately 2 hours following the crash.
OSP was assisted by Yamhill County Sheriff's Office, ODOT, Yamhill Police Department, and Yamhill Fire Department .
