Oregon State Police is requesting the public's assistance in locating the subject (s) that shot a mule deer buck, inside of Dayville city limits, and left it to waste.
On the morning of September 5, 2020 Oregon State Police were notified of a dead mule deer buck near the Dayville cafe. The deer was examined and determined to have been shot with a firearm, most likely on the day prior (September 4, 2020).
The deer was not salvageable for donation.

Cash rewards can also be awarded for turning in people who destroy habitat, illegally obtain licenses/tags and for the unlawful lending/borrowing of big game tags.
