Oregon State Police (OSP) is continuing the investigation into Wednesday evening's two-vehicle serious injury traffic crash that occurred in the 1500 block of Lake Shore Drive east of Selma in Josephine County. Names and other information not included will be released Thursday.
According to Sergeant Tyler Lee, preliminary information indicates on June 11, 2014 at approximately 7:00 p.m., OSP was notified of a two-vehicle head-on crash near 1577 Lake Shore Drive east of Selma.
The 54-year old female driver of a 2005 Dodge pickup was transported by ground ambulance to Three Rivers Community Hospital in Grants Pass with minor injuries.
The 22-year old female driver of a passenger car was extricated by Illinois Valley Fire District firefighters and transported by Mercy Flights air ambulance to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford with serious injuries.
The manner and cause of the crash is continuing to be investigated by OSP troopers from the Grants Pass and Central Point offices.
The highway was blocked for two hours.
