Oregon State Police (OSP) is continuing the investigation into Friday morning's single vehicle serious injury traffic crash that occurred on Highway 224 near Ripplebrook in east Clackamas County.
On June 13, 2014 at approximately 5:30 a.m., OSP Northern Command Center was notified of a single vehicle serious injury traffic crash on Highway 224 near milepost 45. Preliminary investigation indicates a 2001 Infiniti four-door driven by ROXANNE N. WILCOX, age 25, from Gresham, was traveling westbound on Highway 224 when it traveled off the right side of the roadway and collided head-on with the end of a concrete bridge railing post.
WILCOX, who was not using safety restraints, was critically injured. She was transported by AMR ambulance to Oregon Health & Science University. Her car's airbags did deploy.
OSP was assisted at the scene by Estacada Rural Fire District #69.
