OSP Asking for Public's Help - Burglary Investigation at ODOT's Glenwood Maintenance Compound in SE Eugene

Oregon State Police (OSP) is asking for the public's help to identify the suspect(s) of a burglary that occurred this week at the Oregon Department of Transportation's (ODOT) Glenwood maintenance compound in southeast Eugene.

Between 4:30 p.m., August 5, and 4:00 a.m., August 6, 2014, unknown person(s) entered through the back fencing into the ODOT maintenance yard located at 1920 Henderson Avenue. While on the ODOT property, the suspect(s) took a yellow 1999 Ford F350 ODOT truck, a jet boat and trailer, and computers and other electronics. The truck, boat and trailer were later located approximately six miles south of the area.

A 130HP Honda jet outboard motor removed from the boat, computers and other electronics haven't been recovered.

Anyone with information to help locate the stolen property, as well as identifying the suspect(s) in this case is asked to contact OSP Detective Dusty Sprague at (541) 726-2536 extension 243.

Tips may also be provided via email to crimetips2OSP@state.or.us referencing OSP case #SP14-246006. Email tips are monitored by the Criminal Investigations Division, reviewed and then forwarded to the lead investigator for follow-up. Emails should include specific details including the type of case and tip information related to the criminal investigation. Even though tips may be received anonymously, email authors are encouraged to provide contact information for follow-up by the investigator(s), if needed.
