Update (3/5/14) - Federal Way Police Department confirmed this morning that Mr. Standridge was found safe overnight in Marion County, Oregon. Family has been notified.

The vehicle of a 32-year old Federal Way, Washington man reported missing and last seen March 2, 2014, was found Tuesday afternoon at an Interstate 5 rest area north of Albany, Oregon. The man is still missing after Oregon State Police (OSP) found no initial indication he is in the area where the vehicle was found.
On March 4, 2014 at approximately 2:25 p.m., Federal Way, Washington Police Department requested OSP check the Interstate 5 Santiam Rest Area near milepost 241 for a silver 2012 Dodge Avenger with Washington license plates. The vehicle was believed to be driven by ADAM L. STANDRIDGE, age 32, who was reported missing March 3rd after leaving the day before from his Federal Way home.
Federal Way Police Department has been following a number of leads to locate STANDRIDGE with negative results. A missing person bulletin was issued by their department. (A copy of the bulletin with photograph of STANDRIDGE is provided with this release)
OSP troopers and detectives responded to the rest area and located the car abandoned and locked in the parking lot of the southbound rest area. Several troopers from Albany and Salem checked the rest area and bank of the Santiam River but found no sign of STANDRIDGE. The car was first noted at the rest area on March 3 at approximately 8:00 a.m. by a rest area employee.
The car was towed to the OSP Salem Area Command office for safekeeping pending Federal Way police investigation. (Photographs of the located vehicle and the unique door decal is provided with this release)
OSP will continue to provide any assistance to Federal Way Police Department to help locate STANDRIDGE. Anyone with information to help locate STANDRIDGE is asked to call OSP Northern Command Center dispatch at 800-452-7888 or Federal Police Department at (253-835-6791).
